Why it behaves as a surface piercing

Both openings sit in the same plane on the outside, so migration is a real risk — higher than for an ordinary tragus.

A curved bar at 1.2 mm: the curve follows the channel so the ends do not press from within.

3–4 months. Earbuds are the main obstacle.

Size and material

Material	Titanium — 2 models. Contains no nickel, so it causes no reaction even in a fresh piercing. Lighter than steel — less load on the tissue. The material of first choice.
Thickness	1.2 mm — 2 models. The thickness must match the one the piercing was made with.
Bar length	8 mm — 2 models, 10 mm — 1 model, 12 mm — 1 model, 6 mm — 1 model. A longer bar is needed while the swelling lasts, a shorter one — for a healed piercing.
Thread	External — 3 models.
