4–6 months, sometimes longer, with noticeable bleeding in the first days.

Gauge

Canonically worn from 2.0–2.4 mm; 1.6 mm, which is what we stock, is the lower limit for this piercing.

Size and material

Material	316L steel — 4 models. Cheaper, corrosion-resistant, suitable for a healed piercing. For the first jewellery titanium is the better choice.
Thickness	1.2 mm — 4 models, 1 mm — 1 model. The thickness must match the one the piercing was made with.
Bar length	10 mm — 4 models, 6 mm — 4 models, 8 mm — 4 models, 25 mm — 1 model. A longer bar is needed while the swelling lasts, a shorter one — for a healed piercing.
