A frenum sits on the underside of the shaft below the glans; a lorum is the same piercing lower down, at the base; a guiche sits in the perineum.
Jewellery
1.6 mm gauge, 10–12 mm diameter. A circular barbell has no small parts to lose and leaves room for swelling.
Healing
Frenum and lorum 2–4 months; a guiche takes 2–6 months because the area sweats and rubs constantly.

Contains no nickel, so it causes no reaction even in a fresh piercing. Lighter than steel — less load on the tissue. The material of first choice. |
