Both openings sit in the same plane, with a layer of skin between them, so the body pushes the bar out far more readily than it would in an ordinary piercing. Migration and rejection are the normal course here, not a rare complication.
Jewellery
A surface bar or curved barbell at 1.6 mm. Rings are not worn in a Christina: the curve pulls the channel and speeds up rejection.
Healing
3 to 6 months, provided it does not migrate. Friction from underwear matters more here than aftercare does.

The material of first choice. 316L steel — 2 models. Cheaper, corrosion-resistant, suitable for a healed piercing. For the first jewellery titanium is the better choice. |
