The ridge is symmetrical, so a single dydoe reads as an accident rather than a choice.
Rejection risk
It passes through a thin edge of tissue, so it behaves like a surface piercing: rejection is not unusual, and a pronounced ridge is required.

A short straight barbell at 1.6 mm, 6–8 mm.

| Material | 316L steel — 6 models. Cheaper, corrosion-resistant, suitable for a healed piercing. For the first jewellery titanium is the better choice. |
