Bridge piercing
Bridge is a horizontal piercing across the bridge of the nose at eye level. The needle passes under the skin, not through bone or cartilage, so it is a surface piercing worn with one jewellery type only — a straight barbell. 6 models in stock.

Jewellery
A straight 1.6 or 1.2 mm barbell — match the gauge your piercer used — usually 12–16 mm long, 2 mm longer while fresh to allow for swelling. The catalogue currently stocks 1.2 mm bars.
Glasses
The frame bridge sits exactly where the barbell goes. Healing a bridge in glasses is hard; contact lenses solve it.
Healing
8–12 weeks. The main risk is migration, as with any surface piercing — do not change jewellery until the channel has formed.

| Material | 316L steel — 6 models. Cheaper, corrosion-resistant, suitable for a healed piercing. For the first jewellery titanium is the better choice. |
